skopos: a little latin

A big thank you to Chrysostomos for this little Latin lesson: "Each finger had a special name: the thumb was called pollex, the next index, meaning 'to point;' and the middle finger was called infamis, meaning 'infamous' or 'evil.' Apparently, that gesture goes back a ways..."

Thanks also for the link.
